I have MM2K running fine on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx using WINE.
Download the exe file, Next you will have to change the permissions on the file: open a terminal, cd to the folder you saved the file in and type: sudo chmod +x [filename] (the filename for the download I got from SourceForge is MudMaster2000.exe) You will have to enter your sudo password. Go to the actual folder and right-click and choose "Open with WINE..."and it will open and run the install files.
When it is done, click Applications in the task panel, hover over win, then Programs, MudMaster200, then the shortcut.
It opened just like in Windows. I didn't try anything else, but that is for more advanced users to work on.
